Submitting DNA Samples

When submitting your DNA samples it is really important that you make sure that they are package up really well before posting, making sure the postage box is well taped and the racks have an elastic band around them or are in a zip lock bag.

Paper base envelopes are NOT recommended, we have seen lots of them rip.

Ideal packaging is plastic express/parcel post satchels or a box that is taped on all sides.  Inside the packaging its best to have a secondary containment around the TSUs/racks, zip lock bags seem to work really well. Any racks or containers should have an elastic band around them.

Don’t forget to label the box and the racks well.

Below is a photo of some TSUs received at Neogen Australasia.
